So the days are going by fast. Christmas is this week! It’s so crazy. Well if your like me, you must also go last minute xmas shopping. Yesterday, I went to the mall and the line to pay was seriously about to go out the door. I think waiting in line was about an hour wait. So if your a last minute shopper, then I think it’s best to go to the store right when it opens to ensure that you beat the lines. Next year I will just shop a head of time maybe a month before. I think that’s the smartest thing to do and also shop online so you don’t have to get stuck in crazy shopping crowds. Next year I hope I’ll be on my game point. 🙂
It’s Christmas time so my son and I wanted to make a Christmas tree ornament. We had such a fun time doing this and I’m sure you will too. Here’s how to create this .
Products you need to make this : Air Dry Clay, Plate , Non toxic paints , Ribbon, and your little ones:).
Step 1 : Take as much clay as you need and row it in a ball. Then flatten it out, you can make it as thick as you want. After your done you want to place the clay on a plate .
Step 2: Place your little one’s foot or hand on the clay then press down. (Don’t forget to make a hole on top so you can place it on the tree) Then let the clay dry.
Step 3 : After the clay is dry. Use Non-toxic paint and pick any color you and your child want to paint the clay.
Step 5: Put your ornament on the Christmas tree.
So yesterday my boyfriend and I took our son to a Christmas event. We had a really good time. They started the event by having Santa read a story to all the children. When we got there he was already half ways done reading. Yes I know we’re late birds, but we tryed our hardest to be on time. I guess we should of left our house earlier. So after story time with Santa it was time to eat. They gave out a bunch of yummy snacks like cinnamon rolls, cookies, peanut butter jelly sandwiches, and a lot of more goodies. I thought it was cute how they kept the food to the Christmas theme. After everyone ate, they started taking pictures of the kids with Santa Claus. They did it by last name, alphabetical order . Since my son’s last name is in the end of the alphabet we knew it was gonna be a while. So for all the kids that had to wait a while to be called up they had them do arts and crafts. The children made there own christmas tree ornaments. After they had called for our group to go up and we waited in line to take our son’s picture. As we were waiting in line, our son was watching the other kids cry or act scared to sit with Santa Claus. So when it was his turn to sit with Santa, he seemed to be a bit confused. He was just staring at him like if he didn’t know if he should like him or be scared of him. What ended up happening was when they took the picture, he was just staring at Santa and it kinda appeared as if he was trying to run away in the picture. What makes kids so afraid of Santa Claus? Is it the big beard? Is it the glasses? Maybe it’s the laugh?
Christmas is almost here it’s only 13 days away. How exciting! I love Christmas who doesn’t you get to eat delicious food and everyone is nice that day. Every year we celebrated it on Christmas eve. My family gets together and has a Christmas eve party. We play games ,talk about good times , and even have someone come as Santa for the little kids. The children try there hardest to stay up till midnight so they can open there presents. Seeing their smile is the best party of the night.
